Air-Fried Spinach Artichoke Bread Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp salted butter

  • 2 cloves of garlic, pressed

  • 2 tsp chili oil

  • 1 cup cream cheese

  • 1 cup frozen spinach

  • 1 can of artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

  • 1/2 cup shredded parm (+ another 1/4 cup for topping)

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozza (+ another 1/2 cup for topping)

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1 tsp dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh Sourdough boule

  • 1-2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions:

  • Preheat airfyer to 375 F

  • Heat medium pan (9-12 inches) with high sides to medium heat. Melt butter and then add garlic and chili oil. Let soften for 1-2 minutes.

  • Add cream cheese and stir to melt, followed by frozen spinach, artichoke hearts, grated parmesan, grated mozzarella, sour cream, dijon mustard, and onion powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Cut a hole in sourdough boule, hollowing out inside while leave at least 1-2 inches on the sides and bottom. Coat inside of the bread bowl with melted butter. Pour in hot dip and top with remaining cheese mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

  • OPTIONAL: Cut the bread that you removed from the centre into small chunks, drizzle with olive oil or melted butter, and season with salt and pepper (Air-fry for 5 minutes at 375 F or until crispy).

  • Air fry bread bowl for ~ 10 minutes at 375 F (until cheese is golden and bubbly).

  • Enjoy immediately with a chilled glass of Gruner Veltliner!
